Participation Waiver & Risk Notice
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Purpose
This notice explains the general risks connected with soccer training, events, travel, mentoring, volunteer activities, and other KairoLink Foundation programs. It is not a substitute for any separate waiver or release that may be required before participation.
Assumption of Risk
Soccer and athletic activities involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, overuse injuries, sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, heat illness, dehydration, illness exposure, equipment-related injuries, field conditions, transportation risks, and other unexpected events.
Parent and Athlete Responsibility
Parents, guardians, and athletes are responsible for sharing relevant medical, allergy, medication, emergency contact, and participation limitation information before activities. Athletes should follow coach instructions, use proper equipment, report injuries, and avoid participating when unsafe.
Program Safety
KairoLink will make reasonable efforts to support a safe program environment, including appropriate supervision, structured activities, basic safety expectations, and review of reported concerns. No program can eliminate all risk.
Medical Fitness
Parents and guardians should consult a healthcare provider if they have questions about whether an athlete can safely participate in soccer training or related activities. KairoLink may request medical clearance when appropriate.
Transportation and Travel
Transportation, events, and travel may involve additional risks and may require separate written consent, itinerary review, emergency contact information, and supervision procedures. KairoLink may restrict participation when safety requirements are not met.
No Medical Advice
KairoLink does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment through this website. Any health information shared with KairoLink is used for safety awareness and program planning, not as medical advice.
Separate Waivers
Before participation in certain activities, KairoLink may require a signed waiver, release, code of conduct, travel consent, media release, or other document specific to the activity.
